At the scene, in front of the safe gas consultation booth, the staff was explaining in detail a series of emergency measures for gas leakage for residents, "Common hose hidden dangers include rat bites, aging, loose interfaces, and overdue use...... We remind you that when using gas, you must check and replace the hose regularly. At the same time, the staff distributed information materials related to gas safety to the residents.
Gas is a necessity in the daily life of residents, which concerns thousands of households, and once it is operated improperly or negligently, it is very easy to cause accidents. Walking into the Junle Community this time, there were a lot of booths set up on the spot, including the promotion of "Replacement of Gas Appliance Connecting Hoses and Pressure Regulators at the Residential Side of Bottled Liquefied Gas" as a private practical project; Carry out the display of ultra-flexible metal hoses, safety gas cookers, safety pressure regulators, gas leakage alarms and other appliances; Provide gas service consultation and on-site bottle return services such as gas purchase and distribution; The Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued a summary list of household gas appliance maintenance telephones, and provided a series of services such as gas appliance purchase and maintenance guidance, so that residents can enjoy gas safety services and emergency treatment capabilities at their doorsteps.
At the same time, the District Construction Management Committee took the lead in setting up a volunteer service vanguard team to conduct safety inspections for residents, replace ultra-flexible metal hoses and pressure regulating valves with self-closing functions free of charge, explain the common sense of safe gas use and emergency disposal procedures face-to-face, encourage residents who have no flameout protection or stoves that have been used for more than a year to replace safe stoves, and mobilize residents who have not used liquefied gas for a long time to return the bottle in time.
At the event site, more than 70 households registered hoses and pressure regulators were replaced, and more than 20 households were replaced on the same day. In the next step, the District Construction Management Committee will coordinate relevant forces to complete the replacement of hoses and pressure regulators for Junle Community by the end of June.
