China is an ancient civilization with a long history, and has always had the reputation of "the country of etiquette", civilized etiquette is not only the treasure of the Chinese nation, but also the code of conduct for people in social interactions. In order to further strengthen the construction of our school's school spirit, optimize the school's educational environment, create a civilized and courteous campus atmosphere, and help students develop good civilized etiquette and behavioral habits, from March to April 2024, Nanjing No. 27 Junior High School launched a series of civilized and polite month educational activities with the theme of "Etiquette in the heart, etiquette in action".
Part.1
Launching ceremony
At the morning meeting on March 11, the school held a grand launching ceremony for the Civilized and Courteous Month. Huang Jie, deputy director of the Department of Education, brought the speech under the national flag "Civilized etiquette accompanies me, practice the new chapter of the 27th junior high school" opened the prelude to the series of activities of the civilized and polite month, Deputy Director Huang Jie emphasized in his speech that all students should internalize civilization in their hearts and externalize it in their actions, and called on all teachers and students to work together to practice a new chapter of the school's "civilized etiquette"!

Theme class meetings
On March 15th, the whole school carried out a unified class meeting on the theme of civilization and etiquette. Through the class meeting, students further realize that civilized etiquette is around them, and they must be civilized and understand etiquette from every little thing!

Thematic knowledge contests
In order to make this civilized and polite month activity deeper and more practical, and test the students' knowledge of civilized etiquette, on March 22, the school organized a civilized etiquette knowledge competition, so that civilized etiquette education can further take root and blossom in the hearts of students!

Thematic essay contest
On March 27th, our school organized students to carry out an essay contest with the theme of "Etiquette in the Heart and Cultivation in Action" in the lecture hall.

In mid to late March, the school carried out a civilized etiquette poster competition for all students, and the poster works submitted by the students had bright themes, rich colors and profound meanings, which fully demonstrated the positive spirit of our students!

Keynote Speech Contest ·
On the afternoon of April 10th, our school invited three outstanding teachers from the Chinese group, Guo Junju, Sun Jian and Zhang Yayan, to serve as judges to carry out a speech contest with the theme of "Etiquette in the Heart, Etiquette in Action" in the school's recording classroom. The background and music carefully prepared by the contestants complemented the content of the speech, which was pleasing to the eyes of the teachers and students present!

Civilization Star Selection
In order to encourage students to strive to be models of civility and etiquette, each class also selected two students as "Civilization Stars" in this civilized and polite month, hoping that other students can take them as examples!
Although the series of activities of this civilized and polite month has ended, our school has never slackened its education on civilized etiquette. In the future, our school will further promote the education of civilized etiquette for students, guide all students to improve their civilized etiquette literacy, let the wind of civilized etiquette blow in every corner of the campus, and help students grow up in the inheritance of civilized etiquette and become talents in the practice of civilized etiquette!
