Wordless burden

On the distant mountain road, a tired figure was moving slowly. It was a mule, and its eyes were full of determination and helplessness. Every step is like carrying a thousand pounds of burden, trembling and towering, and people feel pity when they see it.

Wordless burden

The mountain roads are rugged, and heavy loads are stacked on the backs of mules. It exerted all its strength, just wanting to climb upwards, but the limits of its body were testing it mercilessly. When all the strength is drained, it can only lie on its side on the side of the road, using the leaves in its mouth to slightly relieve hunger and exhaustion.

Wordless burden

I was fortunate enough to set foot on Mount Emei, where the stairs seemed to reach straight into the sky. However, on that stone staircase, I found heart-wrenching marks – marks of blood all the way. I thought it was human blood, accidentally left by a climber. But when I inquired with the shopkeeper, I learned a shocking truth – the blood stains were those of the mules, the paws of their feet that had been worn out to carry heavy loads.

Wordless burden

Looking at the video in front of me, I seemed to see the mule struggling on Mount Emei again. It endured everything in silence, without complaining and without resistance. Just with those eyes full of grievances, silently watching the world.

Animals also have life and feelings. They can't speak, but their eyes are full of anticipation and dependence on humans. Why should we use them to carry the burden that should be borne by us? They do not express their pain and exhaustion, but we can feel the weight in their tired figures.

It's certainly okay to use animals to carry things, but let's try to minimize their burden. When a person can't move his back, he can put it down for a while, but a mule cannot. They have no choice but to suffer in silence. Let's give them more love and respect, so that they can also feel a touch of warmth and care in this world.
