What is the status of IP development in China in 2023?

By the end of 2023, there were more than 2,600 rights protection assistance organizations across the country.
There are 413 universities, 833 social organizations, more than 6,500 cooperative units, nearly 10,000 volunteers, and more than 14,000 rights protection assistance experts participating in rights protection assistance services.
In 2023, the total annual number of visits to the China Intellectual Property Rights Protection Assistance Network will reach more than 3.5 million.
81.3% of the country's provincial-level administrative regions have established information platforms for rights protection assistance.
Solid progress has been made in the work of intellectual property rights protection assistance, with more than 133,000 applications for rights protection assistance handled by intellectual property rights protection assistance institutions across the country, an increase of 87% year-on-year, provided more than 74,000 consultation and guidance services, issued more than 17,000 reference opinions for infringement judgments, and provided more than 67,000 rights protection assistance services for small, medium and micro enterprises.
The National Overseas Intellectual Property Dispute Response and Guidance Center and its local branches have provided guidance to enterprises on overseas dispute response to more than 600 cases, provided more than 1,400 consulting services, and helped enterprises recover economic losses of 6.89 billion yuan.
