On April 24, 2024, with excitement, the students embarked on a journey to re-take the Long March and the red research of national defense education. The purpose of this trip is to inherit the red gene, understand the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs, and carry forward the revolutionary spirit.
During the activity, students re-walked the Long March and experienced national defense education. Comprehend the connotation of the spirit of the Long March, the course of the Chinese revolution and the stories of heroic martyrs, and relive the red memories of the Long March! Experience riding tanks, training mortars, anti-tank rocket launchers, making and training bows and crossbows, etc., students can feel the red culture in practice, enhance their patriotism and sense of social responsibility, and establish a correct value view, understand the hard-won good life today, and cherish the present even more.
The one-day research activity of "Inheriting the Red Gene and Carrying Forward the Revolutionary Spirit" was successfully concluded. The teachers and students of Pingmo Town Experimental Primary School in Xinmi City had an in-depth understanding of the revolutionary history and felt the profound heritage of red culture.
This research activity not only enriched the extracurricular life of teachers and students, but also stimulated their patriotic enthusiasm and national pride. Through personal experience and practical operation, teachers and students deeply understood the importance of red genes and strengthened their belief in taking the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
