In order to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights and optimize the business environment based on the rule of law, on April 25, on the occasion of the 24th "World Intellectual Property Day", the Anxiang County People's Court launched a legal popularization campaign with the theme of "Strengthening the Legal Protection of Intellectual Property Rights and Strongly Supporting Comprehensive Innovation".
During the activity, court officers and police officers went to Maple Leaf Culture Bookstore, Xinhua Bookstore, City Square and other populated areas to carry out legal popularization publicity, and distributed brochures on intellectual property protection to market operators, reminding them to learn the law, understand the law, and operate legally and honestly. Popularize laws and regulations on intellectual property rights to the public, answer questions on how to identify counterfeit and shoddy products, ways and means to combat counterfeit and protect rights, etc., and guide the masses to attach importance to the protection of intellectual property rights.
More than 500 copies of publicity materials were distributed and more than 20 legal consultations were provided during the event, which allowed the public to understand the importance of intellectual property rights more intuitively and enhanced their awareness of respecting and protecting intellectual property rights. In the next step, the Anxiang Court will give full play to the judicial function of adjudication and economic development, intensify the crackdown on infringement and illegal acts, and help create a good business environment under the rule of law.
