The Zhixi lantern is known as the miracle of "paper-wrapped fire", and the skill of "paper-made lamp, oil-lit lamp, and paper-wrapped fire" has been passed down to this day for 300 years, and it is unique in western Fujian. Each lantern is about 20 catties, 5 feet high, with bamboo strips as the skeleton, pasted with straw paper, there are 99 oil lamps, built-in crystal clear glass cups, steamed tea oil, peanut oil and boiled and dried selected wick lights with special glasses, with the palace lamp as the main lamp, the periphery is equipped with flower baskets, yarn lamps, peony lamps, fish lamps, and keeps rotating after ignition, lifelike. In 2008, it was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.
