On April 23, Longyan Liancheng Highway Development Center organized the 2024 flood and typhoon prevention emergency drill to further improve the comprehensive response capacity of highway emergencies and disaster prevention, ensure the safety and smoothness of national and provincial trunk roads, and ensure the travel safety of the people.
This drill closely focused on the actual combat needs, simulating the culvert blockage and potential safety hazards in the Tianma Village section of Wenheng Town, Wenheng Town, Liancheng County on National Highway 205 Line 2374K+800, and the landslide in the road section of Xiaozhudi Village, Jiele Township, Liancheng County, at 30K+750 of the County Daoluo Line, causing traffic interruption and other dangerous situations, which need to be supported and dealt with by the rescue team. In the face of emergencies such as culvert blockage, road surface water crossing and landslides, the Liancheng Highway Center quickly activated the emergency plan, organized a rescue team, deployed engineering equipment and rescue vehicles, and rushed to the scene for emergency treatment. During the exercise, all departments coordinated and cooperated, and carried out emergency rescue work in an orderly manner in accordance with the division of responsibilities and the requirements of the emergency plan, and achieved the expected results.
"This drill not only tested the feasibility and operability of the emergency plan for flood control and Taiwan prevention in the Liancheng Highway Center, but also exercised the handling ability and combat effectiveness of the emergency rescue team. At the same time, the drill also tested the performance, operation status of emergency machinery and equipment, as well as the comprehensive strength of traffic diversion and smooth operation, and improved the coordination ability between various departments. In order to further improve the county's flood prevention and rescue organization, command and actual combat capabilities, Liancheng County's emergency, water conservancy, highway, transportation, electric power, natural resources, fire rescue and other relevant departments, as well as townships, according to their respective responsibilities and division of labor, actively carry out flood prevention and rescue and life-saving, geological disaster prevention, mass transfer and avoidance, road rush, power repair and other flood season emergency drills. Through actual combat drills, the scientificity and operability of the county's flood control emergency plan will be further tested and improved, and the county's emergency rescue and disposal capabilities will be continuously improved, so as to accumulate practical experience for scientific and standardized flood prevention and rescue in the flood season.
