In order to continue to consolidate the results of the special action, the Yanliang District Market Supervision Bureau organized random inspections of some school canteens and off-campus collective meal distribution units, effectively supervised the implementation of rectification of problems, and effectively guaranteed the food safety of teachers and students.
During the inspection, the law enforcement officers had an in-depth understanding of the food safety director and food safety officer assigned to the inspected unit, the implementation of the daily food safety control, weekly inspection, and monthly scheduling system, as well as the establishment and implementation of employee health management, purchase inspection, personnel training and assessment, etc. Carry out all-round inspections on key links such as food raw material procurement, storage, processing, and decontamination, as well as the "three prevention" facilities, and the internal and external environment rodent pest sanitization, and guide school canteens to actively carry out publicity on stopping food waste. In view of the problems found in the inspection, the inspected units are urged to make reforms, draw inferences from one another, and carry out business activities in strict accordance with the food safety operation specifications for catering services.
Since the launch of the special action, Yanliang District has organized and carried out school self-inspection, full-coverage inspection, cross-inspection and supervision and spot check in an orderly manner in accordance with the general idea of building a strong special class, resolving a number of risks, improving a set of mechanisms, consolidating the responsibilities of the four parties, and improving the level of ability. At present, 78 schools in our district have been equipped with food safety officers, safety directors, and "double directors", and have established a working mechanism of "daily control, weekly inspection, and monthly scheduling". Up to now, the special action of campus food safety investigation and rectification in Yanliang District has inspected 146 schools and 6 off-campus collective meal distribution units, and found 79 problematic units, all of which have been rectified in place; 38 articles have been publicized and reported on the effectiveness of campus food safety governance through media at all levels, and 17 offline publicity sessions have been carried out, striving to improve the participation of all sectors of society, enhance the sense of gain, and fully create a strong atmosphere of co-governance and sharing.
