Books are wise, moisturizing things silently. In April, spring flowers bloom and everything recovers, which is a good season for reading. April 23, 2024, is the 29th "World Book Day". In order to stimulate students' interest in reading, guide children to love books, and develop a good reading habit of "loving reading, reading good books, and being good at reading", Qingshen County Experimental Primary School carried out a series of activities of "Reading Festival".

On the occasion of "World Book Day", Principal Yu Dongmei delivered an enthusiastic speech, putting forward ardent expectations to all teachers and students on behalf of the school, hoping that everyone will be friends with books, enlighten their wisdom and cultivate virtue, and meet a better self in reading.

In the first class, the school carried out the activity of "Reading Quietly, Enjoying the Beauty". Classrooms, offices, janitorial rooms...... The students, faculty and staff of the school held books in their hands and read quietly, which became the most beautiful scenery.
Campus Poetry Conference
If you don't read poetry, you can't taste the essence of culture, if you don't read poetry, you can't feel the spirit of heaven and earth, and if you don't read poetry, you can't see the beauty of flowing colors. On April 22, 2024, Qingshen County Experimental Primary School held a campus poetry conference in the lecture hall, where teachers and students tasted the ancient rhyme of thousand-year-old poetry and appreciated the beauty of classical culture.
The ancient charm is long, and the event kicked off in everyone's expectations. After the preliminary selection, a total of 25 students from grades 3 to 6 participated in the finals of the poetry competition. The whole competition is divided into three parts, the mandatory answer link, the rush answer link and the flying flower order, which comprehensively tests the traditional poetry and cultural literacy of the contestants.
The first level is the mandatory part
Confident and high-spirited, the contestants in the must-answer link are sometimes overjoyed and eager to try, and sometimes frowning and contemplating. The "poetry elite" started brainstorming in a short period of time, racing against time, and "tricking" with literati and inkmen.
The second level is the rush to answer the question
The 20 players who advanced to the second level were divided into two groups, with 10 people in each group. The young contestants were quick in thinking, calm in response, rich in ancient poetry accumulation and witty and agile responses touched people's hearts, so that the teachers and students in the audience couldn't help cheering.
The third level is the Flying Flower Order
In the Flying Flower Order, the 10 players who were promoted were divided into two groups and fiercely answered under the theme of "Spring, Flowers, and Moon". The master's tricks and witty words made the whole game white-hot, reflecting the rich poetry knowledge reserve and showing the charm of ancient Chinese poetry.

"The young man should set up Lingyunzhi and practice real skills day by day. After the fierce competition of the students, the conference finally selected 3 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 15 third prizes. May poetry be accompanied, the fragrance of books infiltrated, Chinese classics, passed on from generation to generation!
