In his speech, Xiang Hai said that rapeseed is one of the eight major edible oilseeds in the mainland, and its output ranks first in the world. The main components of rapeseed oil are oleic acid, linoleic acid, tocopherol and sterols, etc., which have a certain effect of softening blood vessels and delaying aging, and are very good healthy oils. Recently, the production, trade and consumption of rapeseed oil on the mainland have increased year by year. It is of great practical significance to make full use of and develop rapeseed oil resources to provide more new oil sources, improve the self-sufficiency rate of edible oil in the mainland, and ensure the security of edible oil supply in the mainland.

Xianghai said that the conference will be from the rapeseed oil quality control, quality and safety, nutrition and health and other aspects of extensive exchanges, participating experts, scholars and entrepreneurs to speak freely, rapeseed processing industry and rapeseed oil nutrition technology innovation for in-depth discussion, jointly promote the healthy development of rapeseed oil industry.

"The continent is the world's largest processor of rapeseed oil. Wang Ruiyuan pointed out in the special report that in 2022, there will be 1,760 edible vegetable oil processing enterprises above the mainland size, of which the processing capacity of rapeseed will reach 29.377 million tons, and the refining capacity of rapeseed oil will reach 21.101 million tons, second only to the processing capacity of soybeans and the refining capacity of soybean oil, and it is the country with the largest rapeseed processing and rapeseed oil refining capacity in the world. There are hundreds of rapeseed processing enterprises in the mainland, mainly concentrated in the south of the Yangtze River basin and Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and other provinces. Rapeseed processing enterprises have gradually developed from small and scattered in the past to large-scale and large-scale.

Wang Ruiyuan said that rapeseed oil is a high-quality edible oil loved by mainland consumers. Rapeseed oil not only has a reasonable fatty acid composition, but also is rich in polyphenols (the content is 10~30 times that of other oils), phytosterols, fat-soluble vitamins and carotene, which have an important role in human health. In order to meet the needs of consumers around the world, there are many brands of rapeseed oil in mainland China, especially rapeseed oil, which is a popular oil product launched by consumers in many regions in recent years, and its production and sales have accounted for more than half of the country's rapeseed oil share, becoming the leading product of rapeseed oil.
