I. Preface

At eight o'clock this evening, I just gave a tutoring course on signals and systems to the students from Class 23. Now back in the office, I will test the development of the AT32F423 microcontroller that I received. Verify that the toolchain of the development software and hardware is working well. Paving the way for the subsequent application of this microcontroller. In the afternoon, the initial test of the received F403 microcontroller has been carried out, and the following is the test of the F423 microcontroller.

Second, the test circuit

As before, design a simple test circuit. Use the SWD port to debug the microcontroller. Plus an LED. Design test boards that are suitable for one-minute board making. After a minute, the test board is obtained. The board is perfectly made. Weld it to the test below.

The circuit is simple and easy to weld. After cleaning, commissioning is carried out. Before the program is downloaded, the static power consumption is 10.5mA. ACCESS IT BELOW USING AT-LINK. Use the probe clip to direct the AT-LINK to the microcontroller. Very good, the ICP software can access the microcontroller, which means that there is no problem with the test circuit hardware.

Test F423 microcontroller

Let's write a simple test software. Use Workbench software to configure the internal serial port, I/O port, clock and other resources in the F423. After generating the program engineering framework, apply Keil to compile and download, and you can see that the MCU works normally. The serial output signal is also completely correct. It should be noted here that there is still a bug in this Workbench software, that is, there may be a configuration error for the FLASH reading and writing of the MCU in the generated project file. I encountered this kind of BUG when I tested the F403 microcontroller just now. Regenerate a new project file and you're good to go. The microcontroller operates at 150MHz and at 29mA.

※Summary※

In this paper, the F423 microcontroller is preliminarily tested to verify the correctness of the software and hardware development tool chain. The microcontroller is available in TQFP48 and QFN48 packages. The corresponding pin function definition is the same. The microcontroller operates at a frequency of 150MHz and has an operating current of about 29mA. It has a very good work efficiency.
