Officially launched
The event was guided by the Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Protection Center and the Guangzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Intellectual Property Office), and co-sponsored by the Propaganda Department (Copyright Bureau) of the Yuexiu District Committee of the Communist Party of China, the People's Procuratorate of Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, the Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) of Yuexiu District, and the Guangzhou Trademark Examination Cooperation Center.
With the theme of "Promoting the High-quality Development of Yuexiu through the Transformation and Application of Intellectual Property Rights", the kick-off meeting aims to comprehensively enhance the public's awareness of respecting and protecting intellectual property rights by strengthening publicity and education on the protection and application of intellectual property rights, further provide strong support for industrial scientific and technological innovation and the development of new quality productivity, and promote the construction of a demonstration county for the construction of a national strong intellectual property county in Yuexiu District and a pilot zone for the high-quality agglomeration and development of the national intellectual property service industry.

The Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Market Regulation will take this intellectual property publicity week as an opportunity to provide a full range of services and support for innovative entities, and improve the efficiency and level of intellectual property transformation and application. Accelerate the inventory of patents in universities and scientific research institutions, increase support for the transformation and application of intellectual property rights, and encourage enterprises to transform innovation achievements into actual productivity.

In recent years, under the guidance of the provincial and municipal intellectual property offices, Yuexiu District has continuously improved the intellectual property public service system, forming a demonstration and driving effect that radiates Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and even the whole country.
In the next step, we will focus on the construction of a demonstration county for the construction of a strong national intellectual property county and a pilot zone for the high-quality agglomeration and development of the national intellectual property service industry, continue to improve and operate the intellectual property public service center in Yuexiu District, create highlights for the transformation and application of intellectual property rights, and make positive contributions to the construction of a new development pattern and the generation of new quality productivity.
At the kick-off meeting, Liu Zhong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) of Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, released the "2024 Guangzhou Yuexiu District Intellectual Property Publicity Week Activity Agenda", and Wu You, member of the Party Group and Deputy Procurator General of the People's Procuratorate of Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, gave a keynote speech entitled "Comprehensively Performing Duties with High-quality and Efficient Intellectual Property Prosecution to Help the High-quality Economic and Social Development of Yuexiu District", and held the unveiling ceremony of the "Intellectual Property Prosecution Service Point" of the Yuexiu District Intellectual Property Public Service Center.
The launch of the service point not only expands the scope of intellectual property services of the center, but also provides a broader platform for procuratorial and enterprise protection, marking a further step on the road of strengthening the legal protection of intellectual property rights and optimizing the innovation environment and business environment.

Zhongzhi Huihai patsea database is the first domestic intellectual property big data localization retrieval and analysis system, covering patent data from 171 countries and regions around the world, trademark data from 108 countries and regions, and data on China's geographical indications, copyrights, new plant varieties, judgment documents, etc., with a total of more than 300 million pieces of data, integrating the most advanced intelligent technologies such as AIGC, and is currently the most abundant integrated resources and the most data content in the domestic intellectual property industry. One of the most advanced intellectual property search platform systems in the overall functional design.
The "IP Discover International Trademark Intelligence Query and Management Platform" is committed to providing efficient and convenient trademark search, monitoring and management services for cross-border enterprises in the United States and the European Union, focusing on international trademark search, analysis, monitoring, naming and international lawyer team matching.

In the next step, Yuexiu District will continue to operate and improve the functions of the Yuexiu District Intellectual Property Public Service Center, build a "one-stop" intellectual property service platform integrating information consultation, patent search, registration, transaction operation, rights protection assistance, and administrative protection, and improve the intellectual property public service system that is convenient and beneficial to the people.
At the event site, plaques were also issued to Yuexiu District, such as Guangdong Power Grid, Jiubang Century, and Pubang Garden, which will be newly awarded the "National Intellectual Property Advantage/Demonstration Enterprise" in 2023, and invited Guangzhou Trademark Examination and Examination Association Center, Guangzhou Automobile Group, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou Keyue, Guangzhou Sanhuan, Guangzhou Okay, Guangzhou Interpro and Provincial Intellectual Property Investment and Financing Promotion Association and other universities, enterprises, and service institutions to exchange and share intellectual property work, promote the deep integration of the service chain, the innovation chain, the industrial chain, and the talent chain, and promote high-quality economic and social development.
