In order to achieve efficient power and data transmission of the USB-C interface, the handshake protocol chip that conforms to the USB PD standard needs to be integrated inside the device, that is, the PD sink or PD decoy chip. Hynetek HUSB238 is a highly integrated USB PD sink chip (also known as PD decoy chip). The power rating of transmission can reach 100W. It is compatible with PD3.0 V1.3 and Type-C V1.4. It can also support BC1.2 DCP, CDP and SDP and Apple 5V2.4A charging protocol. A universal PD adapter can be used instead of a traditional DC power supply.
HUSB238 has been USB-IF certified and TID3666. It can be used in electronic devices with traditional barrel connectors or USB micro-B power connectors, such as IoT devices, wireless chargers, drones, smart speakers, power tools, and other devices.
