In recent years, the Yanbian football market has gradually "exploded", and the Yanbian Prefecture Party Committee and the state government have built a total of 266 football venues open to the society by using the idle land on the streets, parks and green spaces, city squares, etc., which has effectively met the needs of the masses for ball sports venues, and the participation and enthusiasm of the whole people have been high, becoming a beautiful landscape full of vitality.
It is understood that this year, Yanbian Prefecture has promoted Yanbian to build a key city for national football development and a pilot city for the construction of a football youth training system integrating sports and education in the western region of the country.
During the spring and summer, Yanbian Prefecture vigorously carried out 103 sports events, with more than 30,000 participants and more than 600,000 participants. There were 23 youth sports events. 23 basketball, track and field competitions and training camps will be held in primary and secondary schools across the state, with an estimated number of more than 8,000 participants and more than 50,000 parents and the public. More than 50 mass sports events and activities will be held, such as the "Jilin Miracle, Cycling along the Border" 2024 Hunchun Ecological Bicycle Race, the "Heart Without Boundaries, Walking the Frontier" China-Jilin Border Marathon Series and the "Healthy Jilin, Cool Summer" 2024 National Fitness Series Activities Launching Ceremony (Hunchun City), which is expected to attract more than 150,000 people at home and abroad.
In addition, Yanbian Prefecture will also hold more than 670 international, domestic, provincial and intrastate invitational tournaments, cup matches and other brand football events, including 570 youth football events and 100 social football events, and more than 550 football events will be held in various counties (cities), including more than 500 youth football events and more than 50 social football events. In addition to holding a variety of local brand football events, it will also actively compete for and host more than 100 major national and provincial football events such as the Chinese Football Association Youth Football Championship and the 3rd China Youth Football League. By introducing the competition into Yanbian, the competition is held to promote tourism, and Yanbian is better promoted.
