A few days ago, Maserati officially released its GranCabrio Folgore model, the new car is a convertible version of the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, with a soft-top convertible design, more romantic.
There is no obvious change in the shape of the new car, the front face adopts a family-style polygonal grille design, and the interior is decorated with a straight waterfall structure, which has a relatively strong visual impact; the headlight group adopts a blackened treatment, and the interior integrates lenses and daytime running lights, the style appears more exquisite; the front hatch is also designed with a number of bulging rib lines, which has a relatively strong sense of muscle.
The fenders on both sides of the grille are designed with small air deflectors, and the interior is decorated with black trim plates, which brings a more sporty atmosphere and can also improve aerodynamics, and the front lip part is also more exaggerated, and the overall design style is more aggressive.
In terms of side styling, the roof adopts a soft-top convertible design, which still has a bit of a fastback feel, the convertible can be retracted at speeds of up to 50 km/h, the whole process takes 14 seconds, and the roof is also available in five colours, and the optional wind deflector can be used to reduce airflow at high speeds.
The body lines are basically unchanged, it is still a relatively rounded type, the front fender is designed with heat dissipation holes, and the waist line is relatively low, embellishing the layering of the side of the body, the door handles are concave design, which can play a role in slightly reducing wind resistance, and the wheels are designed with three-spoke black shape, with large brake discs to further enhance the sporty feeling.
In terms of tail styling, the top of the trunk is designed with a slightly upturned ducktail, and the tail light cluster is blackened, and the internal structure has a strong sense of hierarchy; the trapezoidal license plate frame area adopts a concave design, which embellishes the three-dimensional sense of the tail; the lower envelope part is equipped with a diffuser, and the visual effect is more exaggerated.
Inside, the overall layout remains unchanged, with a three-spoke flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, a built-in central control screen and a push-button electronic gear shifter, as well as a small LCD screen in the air-conditioning operation area with touch-touch buttons around it.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a three-motor four-wheel drive system, with a combined maximum power of 560kW, but supports MaxBoost mode, which can increase the maximum power to 610kW, and is based on the 800V architecture, with a battery pack capacity of 92.5kWh and a range of 451km in WLTP mode.
