Caught off guard, the Huawei Pura 70 series announced that it would go on sale at 10:08 on April 18. Like the previous generation, Huawei did not hold a press conference to introduce mobile phone products, but sent an open letter to the public, and sold it directly on Huawei Mall, authorized e-commerce, Huawei experience stores, and authorized retailers.

36 Kr found on the JD channel that the Pura 70 series includes three versions - the base version of the Pura 70 series, the Pura 70 Pro, and the Pura 70 Ultra.

Among them, the Pro version and the Ultra version will be on sale first, and a Huawei experience store manager told 36Kr that the Pura 70 series prototype has not yet arrived in the store, and the basic version will not be officially released until April 22, "I am still waiting for specific notices."

It is worth noting that in this generation, Huawei no longer uses the name of the P series, but changes to "Pura", and Huawei's explanation for this is, "Pura is a new life", which has an unspeakable taste. On the parameter page, Huawei's models still hide all chip-related information including the core processor.

However, from the overall point of view, the difference between the Pura series and the previous P series is that it is relatively younger and more radical in design, and no longer has a strong business crowd atmosphere as before.

In terms of design, this time the Pura70 series has abandoned the long-standing drum camera module design at the forefront and replaced it with a triangular design, which Huawei explains as a "weather vane". The body color is also more diverse in the past, with the base version adding two options: cherry rose red and ice blue, the Pro version has a silver body, and the Ultra version also has brown and green options.

In terms of imaging, the basic version of the Pura 70 is actually unchanged from the previous version - it uses a new generation of spotlight main camera, which increases the amount of light entering the light, and uses a 5x optical zoom periscope telephoto that can provide up to 100x zoom range. In addition, sports mode shooting, macro, and portrait are also the main scenes in this video. However, on the Ultra version, the main focus is on the telescopic lens, which not only increases the amount of light intake, but also has a sense of ritual with the sound of mechanical sounds. 

The power of AI is also reflected in this case. This time, the Huawei Pura 70 series supports the AI erasing function (generative supplementary image content) and the AI cloud enhancement function (enhanced image quality).

The biggest highlight of the screen is the ultra-clear display, and the screen information can be clearly seen in the strong light of the outdoors. The second-generation Kunlun glass has also been used in the Pura 70 series, with a 100% increase in drop resistance.

In terms of battery and charging, the Pura 70 series is equipped with a 4900mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.

In terms of price, the basic version of the Pura 70 series starts at 5999 yuan, the Pura 70 Pro starts at 6999 yuan, and the Ultra version starts at 9999 yuan. This time, the Pura 70 series also offers a rare version with 1TB storage, but compared to the 512GB storage model, the price is 2000 yuan more expensive.
