National Security Education Day
April 15, 2024 is the 9th National Security Education Day, with the theme of "10th Anniversary of the Overall National Security Concept and Innovation Leadership".
Recently, the Xuhui District Bureau of Justice, the Legal Aid Center of its subordinate institutions, the Xuhui Notary Office, and 13 neighborhood and town judicial offices have carried out the National Security Education Day to popularize the law, so that the national security education of the whole people can not only reach the masses, but also enter the masses.

April 15 is the ninth National Security Education Day. The staff and legal aid lawyers of the Xuhui District Legal Aid Center have gone into communities and schools to carry out legal consultations, legal lectures and other activities to implement the overall national security concept and enhance the public's awareness of national security.
Longhua Judicial Office

On April 12, the Longhua Judicial Institute held a lecture on National Security Education Day, and the staff introduced the importance of national security, the current situation facing national security, and how to maintain national security through video playback and in-depth explanations.
Hunan Judicial Office

On the morning of April 11, Hunan Street specially invited Zhang Baile, a lawyer from Shanghai Qifang Law Firm, to hold an offline rule of law lecture with the theme of "Sweeping away underworld forces and building national security together". The lecture focused on the identification of underworld forces, the criminal crimes involved, and the impact of underworld forces on national security.
The lecture also placed national security propaganda roll-up banners, and distributed more than 50 copies of national security education brochures to the community residents who participated in the scene.
Longbridge Judicial Office

The Changqiao Judicial Office, together with the Street Safety Office, the Changqiao Xincun Police Station and other departments, carried out a series of publicity activities.
Beginning on April 8, display boards, posters, and rolling posters were placed at the Street Party and Mass Service Center, Southwest Model Middle School, and Shanghai Botanical Garden to create an atmosphere for rule of law publicity.
On the afternoon of April 12, the District Counter-Terrorism Office and the Anti-Terrorism Detachment were invited to give a publicity lecture on the theme of "Overall National Security Concept, Innovation and Leading the 10th Anniversary" at Southwest Model Middle School, explaining to the students what national security is and how to maintain national security.
On the afternoon of April 15, the Judicial Office, the Street Safety Office and other departments held a publicity activity in the Shanghai Botanical Garden to let residents understand the requirements of the National Security Law, remind everyone to be vigilant in their daily lives, enhance the national security awareness of the whole people, and set up stalls on the spot to provide legal consulting services and distribute legal knowledge publicity materials.
Huajing Judicial Office

On the afternoon of April 15, Huajing Town held a publicity and education lecture on National Security Day in the Xupu Public Service Parlor in Dongwan. Wang Yuntao, a lawyer at Lauda Law Firm, gave a vivid and detailed explanation of what national security is, acts endangering national security and related crimes, and how to safeguard national security. Through this lecture, residents have a deeper knowledge and understanding of national security, and enhance their consciousness and initiative in safeguarding national security. At the same time, the Huajing Judicial Office has created a good publicity atmosphere through electronic screens, exhibition boards and other forms.
Lingyun Judicial Office

On the morning of April 15, the Lingyun Judicial Office, together with the Street Safety Office, held the 10th National Security Day offline rule of law publicity activity in 417 Pocket Park. The event received strong support and participation from Yu Liang, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of the sub-district, and the Lingyun Road Police Station, aiming to further improve residents' awareness of national security and the concept of the rule of law.
At the event site, through various forms such as hanging banners, setting up publicity display boards, and distributing publicity materials, the residents were popularized with national security laws and regulations and related knowledge. The staff of the judicial office set up a special consultation desk, and the staff of the judicial office or legal counsel provided on-site consultation, answered the public's questions about national security laws and regulations, and combined with typical cases, explained in simple terms the importance of national security and the responsibilities and obligations of safeguarding national security.
Xujiahui Judicial Office

On the morning of April 15, the Xujiahui Judicial Office launched the theme publicity activity of "Building a Solid Confidentiality Defense Line and Safeguarding National Security" and "4.15" National Security Education Day. Zhang Yao, director of the sub-district office, stressed that all cadres should firmly establish a sense of national security and build a strong national security defense line.

Make full use of the Xuhui District Public Legal Service Center, the electronic display screen of the street service window, and the windows of each neighborhood committee to display the theme of the Patriotic Education Law publicity tour and posters, and jointly create a strong atmosphere of patriotic education.
Online popularization of law
Give full play to the advantages of online legal popularization carriers such as "Xuhui Law Popularization", combine it with traditional legal popularization, and carry out national security education and publicity for the whole people through multiple channels, from multiple angles, and at a deep level.
On April 12, the WeChat public account of "Xuhui Pufa" released "Safeguarding National Security | Pay attention to these "small actions", which may inadvertently "leak secrets"!", using interesting cartoons as a guide, illustrating and textually telling the question of "what is national security?" At the same time, on April 15, the National Security Education Day, "Xuhui Law Popularization" launched an online answering activity, which has been attended by more than 300 people so far.
