In the 301 conference room of Huaiyin Power Plant, there is an electronic display screen for coal market, which displays the dynamic market price of thermal coal in real time, which is a "magic weapon" for the whole process management of fuel in the power plant. Power plants use it to analyze the trend and changes of the domestic standard coal market, and adjust their business strategies in a timely manner. The leading group of fuel procurement of power plants holds special meetings on fuel management every week, from market analysis to resource development, from procurement to transportation reserves, and one after another instructions are issued from here, realizing the whole process management of fuel and laying a solid foundation for Huaiyin Power Plant to turn losses and increase profits.

Under Wu Dongping's non-stop rush, the 100,000 tons of long-term coal signed by the power plant in February were shipped to Huai'an as scheduled.

Huaiyin Power Plant not only makes efforts to protect long-term coal, but also takes the development of market resources as the forefront of fuel supply and price control, continues to develop new resources in the fuel market, seizes the market window period, locks in economic coal with price advantages in a timely manner, and reduces fuel procurement costs. In the first quarter, the unit price of standard coal purchased by power plants decreased by 232 yuan/ton year-on-year, a decrease of 17.2%.

On the basis of making good use of the lean management platform, the Finance and Forecast Department of Huaiyin Power Plant has made great efforts in internal capital management, verified data, controlled budgets, reduced costs, and improved efficiency, so as to contribute to the realization of financial security. Wang Mingzhu, who is in charge of the operating budget of the power plant, organizes a data inventory meeting every week to sort out the basic situation of production and operation; Wang Yinzi, who is in charge of the capital budget, updates and refines the income and expenditure of funds every day, and reasonably arranges the loan amount; and Pan Yang, who is in charge of financing, repeatedly replaces a loan to reduce the cost of loans...... In the first quarter, the financial expenses of Huaiyin No. 2 Company, a subsidiary of Huaiyin Power Plant, decreased by 10.52% year-on-year, providing a strong and orderly financial guarantee for the production, operation and transformation and development of the power plant.

The times have given traditional thermal power enterprises a new historical positioning. At present, Huaiyin Power Plant is speeding up the pace of transformation and moving towards a comprehensive service-oriented energy enterprise integrating photovoltaic power generation, sludge disposal, power grid auxiliary services and power vocational skills training. Through independent innovation, the power plant expands the breadth and depth of training and enhances the brand effect of Huaiyin training base. The first set of TSI simulation device for million-unit steam turbine in China has been successfully applied in Huaiyin training base, becoming a "hard core support" for enabling transformation and development, feeding back the profitability of enterprises and contributing to the construction of a comprehensive energy company.
