On April 16, Trina Solar unveiled its overall solution for PV storage and smart energy at the World Future Energy Summit, featuring innovative and upgraded products such as the Extreme N-type family with fully upgraded module power, the new generation of flexible energy storage battery compartment Elementa 2, the newly upgraded Trailblazer 1P intelligent tracking solution, and the Tiance cleaning robot. The World Future Energy Summit is the most influential international energy summit in the Middle East and Africa, aiming to accelerate sustainable development and promote the global clean energy transition.

Trina Solar's booth at booth 8110 in Hall 8 attracted many partners and visitors for its full-scene modules and smart solutions for the integration of solar energy and storage. Extreme N-type upgrade Middle East ground power station + rooftop photovoltaic

Thanks to the advanced technology upgrade of the new generation i-TOPCon and the efficiency improvement of the carrier-enhanced sintering technology, the power of Trina Solar's Extreme N-type series products has been fully upgraded. At the exhibition, Trina Solar's products, including the Extreme N-type 720W and 625W, and the Extreme N-type King Kong 505W and 455W, were unveiled, covering a wide range of application scenarios such as large-scale ground power stations, ground power stations with complex terrain, industrial and commercial distribution, and residential rooftops.

The Extreme N-type 720W series modules have an efficiency of up to 23.2%, which can minimize the BOS cost and LCOE of the system, and can be called the "LCOE star" of ground power stations. After the upgrade, the power of the Extreme N-type medium-version module reaches 625W, the efficiency reaches 23.1%, and the extreme module size design is more suitable for ground power stations in complex terrain.

In addition to being suitable for ground-mounted power stations, these two ultra-high-power Extreme N-type modules are also empowering industrial and commercial scenarios. On the same day, Trina Solar showcased the Extreme N-type 720W single-sided module and the Extreme N-type 625W single-sided module, with a single-sided backsheet design, which meets the load-bearing requirements of the roof and is compatible with a variety of installation methods, leading the industrial and commercial roofs in the Middle East and Africa region to enter the N-type high-power era. In addition, the Extreme N-type King Kong 505W and Extreme N-type King Kong 455W series modules on display will bring higher value to local C&I and residential rooftops. The Extreme N-type King Kong 505W module is small in size and flexible in installation, which greatly improves the installation efficiency. The Supreme N-type King Kong 455W series modules won the German Design Award for their excellent design concept and aesthetic value, bringing an extraordinary green living experience to local customers.

The Elementa 2 platform was unveiled, with an enhanced version to meet the needs of differentiated markets

Following its global launch, Trina Energy Storage's new generation of flexible energy storage battery compartment Elementa 2 made its debut in the Middle East, and released the new 5MWh flexible energy storage battery compartment Elementa 2 equipped with self-developed Trina Core, helping the development of solar energy storage and energy transformation in the Middle East.

The new generation of flexible energy storage battery compartment Elementa 2 achieves a high balance between cost and system capacity under a standard 20-foot container, and can be matched with a variety of AC/DC coupling solutions such as centralized, distributed and stringed, which has better value in various application scenarios. In terms of safety, Elementa 2's innovative liquid-cooled thermal management design controls the temperature difference between the cells during operation to within 2.5°C, and through multi-dimensional testing and targeted design, it can achieve higher accuracy fault detection at the unit level, while the strong protection design enhances electrical and mechanical safety. At the system level, Elementa 2 offers a variety of safety protections and integrates an early fire hazard detection and suppression system to prevent and respond to thermal runaway. With single-sided doors and back-to-back systems that optimize the layout, the new generation Elementa 2 not only reduces the footprint, but also supports full container transportation, convenient operation and maintenance, efficient installation, and takes into account the size and weight of overseas transportation, significantly reducing the initial investment cost and later operation and maintenance costs of customers.

Trina's self-developed 306Ah and 314Ah high-density energy storage cells were also exhibited, attracting many exhibitors to stop and consult. The newly upgraded Pioneer 1P offline debut, with excellent adaptability, fully empowers the ground power station

The newly upgraded Trailblazer 1P intelligent tracking solution exhibited this time is the first offline show in an international exhibition after being released to overseas markets in February this year.

The abundant sunlight in the Middle East and the economical desert land resources that can be used for large-scale solar PV applications provide excellent natural conditions for solar PV projects. The newly upgraded Trailblazer 1P intelligent tracking solution fully meets the special market needs of the Middle East to deal with flat and open terrain, harsh environments with heavy wind and sand, and rapid installation.

The newly upgraded Trailblazer 1P tracking bracket is equipped with a multi-motor system with a slewing drive and a dual damping system. Its innovative design allows the scaffold to be increased from 100 meters long to 140 meters, while avoiding the instability caused by intermediate twisting and deformation, improving dynamic response and increasing the critical wind speed threshold to ensure accurate tracking of the bracket operation in challenging environments.

In addition, the newly upgraded Pioneer 1P has excellent compatibility and adaptability, which perfectly matches the full range of components in the industry, and has better peripheral adaptability, eliminates the component drop, and provides a good foundation for the matching of cleaning robots. At the exhibition site, the Extreme N-type 625W series components were installed on the newly upgraded Pioneer 1P, and were equipped with a dry-hung cleaning robot customized developed by Tiance for the tracking bracket. The application of cleaning robots not only saves the cost of manual cleaning, but also reduces the potential safety hazards in the cleaning process, and also avoids the loss of power generation caused by sand and dust blocking.
