In the exhibition halls of the Sanshen Memorial Hall, the commentator explained to all the retired party members one by one the advanced deeds of the "Sanshen" teenagers' aspirations, learning through China and the West, their strengths, and their excellent family style. It focuses on the academic status of Mr. Shen Shiyuan in the study of Zhuangzi, Mr. Shen Yinmo's profound attainments in the fields of ancient and modern poetry and calligraphy art, and Mr. Shen Jishi's outstanding achievements in philology and archival science. In terms of academic governance, the "Three Shens" have gradually become the mainstream of the teaching and research of the Literature and History Department of Peking University with the style of study that pays attention to the examination of evidence and discipline, and is realistic and rigorous; the "Three Shens" set an example and set strict requirements for future generations, with more than 10 of the children being teachers, more than 20 of the grandchildren being teachers, and three of the fourth generation graduating from Tsinghua University and going abroad for further study, completing the centennial journey from the "Three Shens" of Peking University to the "Three Shens" of Tsinghua University.
