On April 15, Peking Opera master Shang Changrong brought the opera film "Zhenguan Grand Event" to East China Normal University. Teng Junjie, the main creator of the film, and Shang Changrong, have said that the vocation of opera people is to use their own skills and rich means of expression to tell the story of Chinese national culture. As the only new historical repertoire among the 21 "Peking Opera Film Project" films, "Zhenguan Grand Event" vividly shows the scene of a generation of Ming monarchs and virtuous ministers working together to create the "rule of Zhenguan" in the Tang Dynasty, which has a high degree of knowledge and artistry.
Shang Changrong and Teng Junjie also shared the story behind the film, and explained the innovative development of traditional Chinese culture and the young future of opera art. He sent a message to teachers and students: "The development of Peking Opera should be both upright and innovative, and it is necessary to create works that are suitable for the times and synchronize with the times, which is the goal that we will always explore and pursue." At the same time, I also wish Jingkun Art and many outstanding brother dramas a brilliant future career. ”
In the "Master Face-to-Face" session, students from the Kunqu Opera Club of East China Normal University and the Jingkun Club of Shanghai Jiao Tong University performed a piece of opera respectively, and received careful guidance from Shang Changrong, who gave valuable advice to the students and encouraged them to stick to their passions.
This event is hosted by the Shanghai Film Critics Society and the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of East China Normal University, undertaken by East China Normal University, and co-organized by the Immersive Holographic Image Innovation Research Center of East China Normal University.
