On the morning of April 12, the opening ceremony of the first Zhengzhou Qihuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Development Conference was held at Yinji Ice and Snow Hotel in Xinmi City.
The event was hosted by the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Henan Provincial Committee of the Peasants and Workers Party, the Henan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Zhengzhou Municipal Government, and the Zhengzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Nearly 1,000 people from all over the country, including Qihuang scholars, experts and professors, presidents of Chinese medicine universities, presidents of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals, and heads of well-known traditional Chinese medicine enterprises, attended the event.
At the event, authoritative experts discussed Qihuang culture and health industry, and signed 12 projects.

An Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee, delivered a welcome speech, Wang Yaoxian, President of Henan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and President of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, delivered an opening speech, and Wang Guochen, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, announced the opening of the conference.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Chen Chunmei, secretary of the Xinmi Municipal Party Committee. There are 12 projects with a total contract value of 12.528 billion yuan, covering biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, new energy, modern services and other fields, of which the upstream and downstream industrial chain projects of traditional Chinese medicine account for 75%, injecting new strong momentum into the development of traditional Chinese medicine industry in Xinmi City.

In his welcome speech, An Wei said that Zhengzhou, as the capital of Henan Province, the core city of the Central Plains urban agglomeration and the national central city, has abundant resources, outstanding advantages and unshirkable responsibilities in the development of traditional Chinese medicine.
At present, Zhengzhou is deeply studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions and important instructions on the work of traditional Chinese medicine, and in accordance with the deployment requirements of the central and provincial party committees, it will unswervingly put the development of traditional Chinese medicine in an important position, make every effort to accelerate the construction of a national traditional Chinese medicine medical center, and promote the construction of a strong city of traditional Chinese medicine to form a strong atmosphere and show a good trend.

In his opening speech, Wang Yaoxian said that Xinmi Qihuang culture has a rich heritage, and there are more than 60 Qihuang cultural relics such as the Yellow Emperor's Palace, Xuanyuan Hill, Qibo Mountain, Fanggou Village, etc., involving scenic spots, place names, mountains and rivers, temples, etc., which are unique in the country, and are the birthplace of Qihuang culture, the place where the thought of "Yellow Emperor's Neijing" was formed, and it is also the second hometown of Qibo, the ancestor of Chinese medicine.

Qihuang Xinmi has a long history
