THE FAW-VOLKSWAGEN ID.7 VIZZION SEEMS TO BE AN ELECTRIC CAR THAT HAS PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO SAFETY PERFORMANCE. From the body structure to the battery safety, it has been carefully designed and rigorously tested.

BODY SAFETY: THE FAW-VOLKSWAGEN ID.7 VIZZION USES A HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL-ALUMINUM HYBRID BODY, OF WHICH HOT-STAMPING STEEL ACCOUNTS FOR 32% AND HIGH-STRENGTH AND ULTRA-HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL ACCOUNTS FOR 81%. This design makes the body highly crashworthy and tough, which can effectively protect the safety of occupants in the event of a collision. The "sandwich" structure of 2000MPa ultra-high-strength hot-stamping steel floor beams and double-layer hot-stamping steel and honeycomb aluminum reinforcing beams further enhances the structural strength of the body and provides all-round side impact safety protection for the occupants.

Crash test: FAW-Volkswagen has invested heavily in hardware development for body safety, spending hundreds of millions of yuan to build a crash safety laboratory. During the development of the FAW-Volkswagen ID.7 VIZZION, 32 vehicles and 73 crash tests were carried out, involving 56 crash dummies, and the value of a single dummy was as high as more than 10 million. This rigorous development and testing process ensures maximum protection for occupants in a wide range of crash scenarios.
