In order to allow employees to have a deeper understanding of traditional art and enrich their spiritual and cultural life, the Federation of Community Trade Unions of Yanziji Street Chemical Fiber New Village organized a unique handicraft experience activity of "Intangible Cultural Heritage on the Fingertips - Painting Water into a Fan".
"Water topography is an ancient art form in which paint is rubbed onto paper by sprinkling paint on water and rubbing it onto paper with a fan or other tools to form beautiful and unique patterns. During the activity, the staff volunteers gave a detailed explanation of the historical origin, painting skills, carrier types, color matching and other knowledge of water rubbing, reminding everyone to pay attention to the division ratio, primary and secondary relationship, and balanced distribution of painting, and teaching everyone the angle and technique of fan rubbing.
In the production process, the employees showed their creativity and talent, incorporating personal emotions and understanding of beauty into every meticulous movement. Everyone depicted with their hearts, and used dexterous hands to dye the water drops and ink, creating a unique fan pattern. This is not only a handmade process, but also a spiritual dialogue with traditional culture.
Towards the end of the event, the employees showed their works and shared their feelings and experiences in the production process. Each fan carries the painstaking efforts and emotions of the employees, and also shows their love and respect for traditional culture. In the group photo session, everyone was smiling and recorded this unforgettable moment together.
