Such a scene is the daily life of the three major business districts such as Dongshang Heyin Lane block and the surrounding Xirun City and Sanhe Liu'an block after nightfall. "The night has become an important time for residents to consume. The three major business districts take advantage of the geographical location of the main urban area and multi-dimensional linkage to vigorously develop the night economy, create a new commercial circle for young people to eat, drink, play, play and shop, and help the Rudong consumer market to become "hot" and "lively". The relevant person in charge of the Rudong County Bureau of Commerce introduced. "The successive construction and commissioning of major projects is also one of the important reasons for the rebound in the growth rate of electricity consumption. Yu Haijie, director of the Rudong County Development and Reform Commission, said that since the beginning of this year, with the accelerated release of production capacity of major projects such as Jiatong Energy and Jinhongye, Rudong's electricity consumption indicators have achieved rapid growth, and the industrial agglomeration effect has been further highlighted.

"The sea breeze not only brings clean energy, but also drives a 100-billion-level industry. Ji Jianhua, deputy mayor of Yangkou Town, introduced that as the core area of Rudong's 100 billion-level new energy industry construction, since 2004, the country's first wind power franchise project was settled, Yangkou Town has built the country's first onshore concession demonstration project, the country's first intertidal wind power test site, the country's first offshore wind farm that meets the requirements of "Double Ten", the country's first offshore wind power flexible DC transmission project and a number of projects, up to now has a total of 14 wind farms, including 13 offshore wind farms, is worthy of the name "Three Gorges on the Sea" 。
Not far from Yangkou Town, tens of thousands of dark blue photovoltaic panels shine in the 10,000-mu integrated base of fishery and photovoltaic in Nantong Export-oriented Agricultural Comprehensive Development Zone, just like a blue ocean. At present, the four projects of Tongwei, China Resources, China General Nuclear Power and Huaneng in the base have all been completed, and after the full capacity is connected to the grid, it can transmit 875 million kWh of green electricity to the grid every year.
From the neatly arranged "wind turbine forest" on the vast South Yellow Sea to the photovoltaic panels connected to the base of the export-oriented agricultural comprehensive development zone, Rudong, a small coastal city located in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, is charging and storing energy for the Yangtze River Delta economy with strong green power. Up to now, Rudong has built the largest county-level offshore wind farm in Asia, with a total installed wind power capacity of more than 5.62 million kilowatts and a photovoltaic installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts. In 2023, Rudong's new energy power generation projects based on wind power will deliver 13.1 billion kWh of clean electricity to the power grid, reaching 140% of the county's total electricity consumption. In the first quarter of this year, the on-grid electricity of Rudong's "wind and solar" new energy reached 4.611 billion kWh, exceeding the total social electricity consumption by 2.149 billion kWh, and the "net output" of green electricity has been normalized.
"During this year's peak summer, Rudong's green power supply capacity is expected to exceed 3 billion kilowatt hours, which can be used by about 1 million households throughout the year, and it is 100% green energy. Zhou Hua, chief engineer of Rudong County Development and Reform Commission, said that based on the "double carbon" goal, Rudong will continue to leverage industrial upgrading with resource advantages, accelerate the promotion of Guohua's 400 megawatt tidal flat photovoltaic and Tianying 200 megawatt tidal flat photovoltaic projects, and strive to reach 5 million kilowatts of installed photovoltaic capacity in the county by 2030, and the installed capacity of wind power will exceed 10 million kilowatts.
