At the press conference, the Venezuelan ambassador to China first delivered a media speech, saying that in 2024, China and Venezuela will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the relations between the two countries have gone through half a century. Twenty-five years ago, the two countries established a strategic partnership, and all the fruits of this cooperation are deeply embedded in the daily lives of the Venezuelan people. In September 2023, President Nicolas Maduro paid a state visit to China, during which the two countries signed 31 agreements in a number of important areas, including economic development, political cooperation, and social development, elevating bilateral relations to a new level of all-weather strategic partnership.
