Highly recruited, Venezuela disqualified the winner of the opposition primary for the presidential election?

author:Taizhou Xiaohong

The current news is that yesterday, Venezuela's Supreme Court decided to disqualify the winner of the opposition primary, María Corina Machado, from running against Maduro in the presidential election later this year.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Venezuela's justice minister said he had issued arrest warrants for three people involved in the campaign of opposition presidential candidate María Corina Machado, including on charges of treason.

Earlier, on October 26, 2023, former Venezuelan parliamentarian María Corina Machado was appointed as the presidential candidate of the opposition to fight the Chávezites in the 2024 general election, and Machado, a female engineer, received overwhelming support in the presidential primary election held on October 22 with 92.3% of the vote.

The latest news is that today, the Argentine government spoke out against Venezuela's decision to ban Machado from running, expressing support and reaffirming its commitment to free elections, the first government in all of Latin America to stand up.

Another farce is that in early December last year, Maduro fought hard and made a good move, Venezuela provoked a territorial dispute with neighboring Guyana, and also held a referendum, but it was illegally interfered by the United States and finally disrupted.

It seems that Venezuelan politics and Russian politics are really in the same vein, and Maduro and Putin are also in the same style.

This is an internal affair of Venezuela, let's just watch the lively drama!
