On the evening of April 13th, the "020 Hertz Outside the Long Beach" "New" concert was opened at the Xinghuan International Business Center Plaza! The event was hosted by the Yuexiu District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and undertaken by the Yuexiu District Cultural Center, Xiaomi Guangdong, and Xinghuan International, to promote the diversified integration of pop music and culture, business and tourism, build the Yuexiu music and tourism integration brand, tell the story of Yuexiu, and spread the voice of Guangzhou.
Beluga Whale King, born on the streets of Guangzhou in 2020, is a new generation of independent bands with diverse styles. The concert opened with two original songs, "Long Wave" and "Phantom Whale", and the audience felt like a whale swimming in the sea. The original songs "I Want to Blow the Wind" and "Hurry Up and Get Off Work" record the fireworks in the world, telling the warmth of the little bits and pieces of ordinary life that touch people's hearts.
Lin Geng, the lead singer of the band, said that their music concept is just like the name of the band, using the power of music to gently collide with the world, hoping to record life through music and convey a warm and positive power to everyone with music.
Xinghuan Plaza sits on the Pearl River, and the first show of the "020 Hertz Outside the Long Beach" music camp series was opened here. Yuexiu District joined hands with Xiaomi Guangdong to invite the Beluga Whale Band to sing live, empowering with music, interpreting the golden songs of the times, recording the warm life, and bringing an unforgettable night to the masses.
In 2023, Yuexiu District will launch the "020 Hz" urban music camp, relying on the cultural landmarks and trendy blocks of Yuexiu District, focusing on creating a number of well-known urban music camps, singing the charm of the city and stimulating the vitality of the city with music. Music camp activities such as Dadongmen (Dongping Dazhi), Gudaobian (in front of the Finance Hall in the northern section of Beijing Road), and outside the causeway (Xinghuan Square) have been launched, and performances of multiple music styles have been arranged, which are deeply loved and sought after by the masses. In the future, we will continue to expand the scope of music camps, continue to strengthen the diversified integration of music and culture, business and tourism, and continue to provide free trendy music feasts to the masses, so as to help Guangzhou build a "performing arts capital".
