On May 14th, the 2024 "Central Plains Cultural Stage" event - "Chinese and Western Music Rhyme" Chinese and foreign classic works concert was staged in the Concert Hall of Zhengzhou Grand Theater.

The concert also featured a selection of Western classics, including Tchaikovsky's famous ballet "Swan Lake" suite, Zekun Abru's "Tico-Tico Bird", Richard Strauss's symphonic poem of the same name "Zarathustra Says", Holster's orchestral suite "Planetary Suite" fourth movement "Jupiter", Georges Bizet's opera "Carmen" overture, Hachatulian's "Waltz" from the play "Masquerade", Brahms's " Hungarian Dance No. 5", Latin Dance by Margues, etc. and Chinese folk music suites - "The Sun Comes Out and Beams", "Gao Shan Qing", "Lift Your Hijab", and at the end of the performance, soprano singer Zhang Yu and the symphony orchestra "Pursuit", "I Love You China" and other songs full of sincere patriotic feelings pushed the whole concert to a climax. Through the uniqueness and diversity of music, the audience can feel the beauty and movement of music from all over the world.
