China's "two major supports" seem to be unremarkable, but in fact, they are "hidden edges", which can be described as "sending charcoal in the snow" and are quite valuable to Russia at present.
As far as point (1) is concerned, the West has been slandering Russia as "ostensibly democratic", but in fact, on the contrary, it simply does not recognize Putin's presidential status and does not recognize the results of the Russian election. At present, China supports Russia in taking a development path that is "in line with its own national conditions", in fact, it supports President Putin, and does not think that there is anything wrong with Putin's "re-election", because this is in line with "Russia's own national conditions" and is a choice made by the "Russian people". Therefore, this support should be "very heartwarming" for Putin and Russia, who are in a "sea of scolding".
As far as point (2) is concerned, isn't it normal for China to support Russia's "anti-terrorism"? However, it should be pointed out that after the terrorist attack in Moscow, although the "Islamic State" claimed it, neither Russian President Putin nor spokesperson Zakharova believed that the "Islamic State" was the real murderer, and the Russian side investigated that the "real culprit" was the West, the United States, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and other countries. In the case that Putin has reversed the "anti-terrorism" to Kyiv and tied the terrorist attacks on Moscow to Ukraine, China supports Russia in "fighting terrorism and maintaining social security and stability", which is "different". This is tantamount to giving Putin a check in the name of "anti-terrorism", and Putin fills in the number himself, and supports you in "anti-terrorism" anyway.
Just after China's "confession", veteran diplomat Lavrov deeply felt that China's gift was "too heavy" and also gave the Chinese leader the truth. On the one hand, he added that "President Putin's smooth re-election guarantees the continuity of Russian-Chinese relations," and that Putin's election is not only beneficial to Russia, but also to China, and is a good thing for both China and Russia. On the other hand, in front of the Chinese leader, he said that "the priority of Russia's foreign policy is to comprehensively consolidate and upgrade relations with China."
It should be said that Lavrov's statement is "full of weight", and it has at least three meanings:
- Now China is the country that Russia "attaches the most importance to", "there is no one".
- Russia hopes to further "consolidate and upgrade" its relations with China.
- Subtext - "What does China need from Russia"?
This is reminiscent of President Putin's speech in December last year, in which he said that Russia is willing to cooperate with China "in all fields" and that "there are no restrictions" "including in the field of military technology." Putin even hinted that Russia was willing to cede its most confidential and sensitive technology in exchange for China's cooperation, saying that "no matter how hard people try to keep the secret of black powder, in the end it becomes something known to all mankind." It can be seen from this that Putin is confident that what he has come up with is "top-notch" and can impress China.
What Putin wants is not China to provide missiles, artillery shells, and drones, through the transition to a wartime system, Russia's military industry has been greatly improved, and its productivity has increased several times, more than ten times, plus the assistance of Iran and North Korea, the Russian army is currently "not lacking" ammunition. What Putin wants:
- It is China's continuous investment and market that continues to expand the scale of Sino-Russian trade, so that Russia can "easily" fight and "get richer the more it fights";
- It is China that "must not" compromise with the United States, "hold on", the nuclear strength is insufficient, right, we can carry out "military-technical cooperation", although we open our mouths.
In the eyes of the outside world, now that Russia is fighting very smoothly, the Ukrainian army is short of ammunition, and it should not be so "thirsty" for China's help, but Putin, the person in the bureau, knows very well that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will not end at all in the short term, and NATO will end up in person, it is a "bottomless pit", Russia alone is "unable to drag", no major country stands firmly behind it, this battle may still be lost in the end, either on the battlefield, or economically, no matter which one loses, Russia cannot afford it. Therefore, "people who have no long-term worries must have near-term worries", and China and Russia must "go back to back" to strengthen relations with China.
China's support for Putin's "re-election" and Putin's "anti-terrorism" campaign against Kyiv and the West, while Russia will also "comprehensively consolidate and enhance its relations with China." This is an exceptionally strong signal, that is, China and Russia will "further unite," and the technical cooperation, strategic coordination, and mutual support between the two sides will be more frequent and more intense.
Therefore, the United States has accelerated the pace of "arming Japan", signed 70 military cooperation agreements with Japan, greatly upgraded the US-Japan alliance, and also reaffirmed the "nuclear protection" of Japan. China and Russia are holding together, and the United States and Japan are holding together, what is this going to do? This is probably the rhythm of moving towards war.
