Recently, the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum series of activities - the 7th Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition "Silicon Alley Cup" Mobile Communication and Internet of Things Field Competition was held in Dongcheng District. The 7th Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition "Silicon Alley Cup" Mobile Communication and Internet of Things Field Competition was held in the "Smart Zijin" Roadshow Center of Dongcheng Park.
As the competition section of Zhongguancun Forum, the Zhongguancun International Frontier Science and Technology Competition is not only a high-level international cutting-edge science and technology competition platform for foreign exchanges, but also an important means to select and incubate outstanding cutting-edge technology enterprises and teams. With the theme of "Opening Up Frontier New Tracks and Cultivating New Momentum for Development", this year's competition set up 8 competition areas at home and abroad, and 3,164 enterprises and teams from all over the world signed up for the competition. After layers of screening, 195 projects entered the field competition, and the winners will participate in the global finals during the Zhongguancun Forum.

In recent years, the Beijing Municipal Government has attached great importance to the development of the mobile communication and Internet of Things industry, and has issued a series of supporting policies to provide a good environment for industrial development, provide strong support for industrial innovation and technology research and development, and the industrial scale has been expanding and the number of enterprises has continued to grow. Mobile communication and Internet of Things technologies have been widely used in various fields such as smart cities, intelligent transportation, industrial Internet, and medical health, which not only improve urban management and service levels, but also promote the digital transformation and upgrading of related industries.

At the competition site, 15 participating projects elaborated on their defenses from multiple dimensions such as team advantages, industrial innovation, independent intellectual property rights, market demand, core competitiveness, and business models, fully demonstrating their respective strengths. 11 experts from universities and institutes, investment institutions, leading enterprises, etc. were invited to serve as judges, and after precise guidance, detailed comments, and fair scoring, 10 projects, including new colloidal quantum dot infrared imaging chips, intelligent synchronous bus Irax, and light and small low-power inter-satellite laser communication terminals, won the TOP10 honorary title in the field of mobile communication and Internet of Things in the 7th Zhongguancun International Frontier Science and Technology Competition.
