On April 19, 2024, the Internet of Things Innovation and Development Seminar was successfully held during the "Trust and Intelligence" 2024 Spark Ecology Conference. The conference was hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "China Academy of Information and Communications Technology"), undertaken by the Institute of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and co-organized by Chongqing Internet of Things Industry Association, Shandong Internet of Things Association, Inner Mongolia Internet of Things Industry Association, Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association, Xiamen Internet of Things Industry Association, and Wuxi Internet of Things Industry Association.
Internet of Things Innovation and Development Forum
This seminar will focus on new technologies and applications such as artificial intelligence, distributed operating systems, edge computing, and radio frequency identification, and invite experts from industry, academia, research, and use to share hot topics such as passive Internet of Things, network security, AIOT, and smart chips, and jointly discuss the innovative development path of the Internet of Things in mainland China. Xiao Shanpeng made a keynote report on "New Passive Internet of Things to Build New Quality Productivity".
Xiao Shanpeng, director of the Institute of Internet of Things Technology and Application of China Mobile Research Institute, focused on the technological evolution of the new passive Internet of Things and the important value played in the development of new quality productivity based on the background and new needs of industrial digitalization and new industrialization, and shared the latest achievements of China Mobile in the field of new passive Internet of Things, and finally put forward the thoughts and prospects for the future development of the new passive Internet of Things.

Luo Xi, director of the Institute of Internet of Things and Security of the School of Cyberspace Security of Guangzhou University, gave a speech entitled "Internet of Things Threat Analysis and Intelligent Protection from a Wide-area Perspective", analyzing the forms and threats of Internet of Things attacks launched from abroad from a wide-area perspective, which can better understand the protection needs from the overall situation and build a reasonable security protection system.

Shao Xiaojing, a senior engineer at the Institute of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things of the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology, released the "China Internet of Things Security Label Action Plan", the Internet of Things Security Label Action Plan is aimed at the pain points of the current network security attacks faced by consumer-level Internet of Things devices in the mainland, and the equipment that meets certain network security certification standards is given a unique specific security label, so as to ensure the security of the Internet of Things devices when accessing the network, and then put forward a set of action plans. She emphasized that the release of China's Internet of Things Security Label Action Plan will help strengthen the awareness of all walks of life on the security of Internet of Things devices, promote the construction of an independent and controllable Internet of Things security label certification system in the mainland, and promote the high-quality development of the Internet of Things.

Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association, Institute of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Shenzhen Pengcheng Technician College, Shenzhen Quanshunhong Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xunpeng Technology Co., Ltd., etc. jointly released the "Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry White Paper (2023)".
