Introduction to the arts

Lin Peihui, a native of Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, a member of the Communist Party of China, a retired soldier, is currently a member of the Organizing Committee of the 19th National Calligraphy Competition of "Chinese Good Calligraphy", a member of the China Network Calligraphy Association, a member of the Zhanjiang Calligraphers Association, and a member of the Wuchuan Calligraphers Association. Influenced by his elders, he has been fond of calligraphy since he was a child, and has always been a frequent visitor to Wang Xizhi, Zhao Mengfu, Wen Zhengming and many other calligraphy, and often humbly learns, consults and communicates with local calligraphers and calligraphy enthusiasts, so as to promote traditional Chinese culture as its own responsibility.

Main awards and honors: Selected award for the Shekou Literary and Art Works Competition to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the establishment of China Merchants Group. In 2021, he won the third prize in the Hanmo China Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition. He was awarded the title of "Outstanding Calligrapher and Painter of 2021" by the Society for the Study of Traditional Culture, and was permanently included in the cultural and artistic talent pool.

In 2022, his works were selected to be featured in the cross-strait art "Gift to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China: A Collection of Masterpieces of Cross-Strait Calligraphy and Painting". From November 2022 to the present, his calligraphy works have participated in the 16th, 17th and 18th National Calligraphy Competitions of "Good Chinese Calligraphy".

In January 2024, he participated in the "Remembrance and Dream Chasing" - calligraphy exhibition to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong's birth held by the Zhanjiang Calligraphers Association, and his works won the exhibition award.
