Black pottery making techniques
Black pottery began in the early Neolithic period, flourished in the Liangzhu period, is a splendid flower in the pottery garden, and occupies an important position in the history of mainland ceramics. As the main carrier of Liangzhu culture, black pottery has important cultural relic, historical and cultural value.
In 1966, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1988 and 1990, the Shanghai Museum, Jinshan District Museum and the People's Government of Tinglin Town conducted several on-site surveys and excavations of the tombs in Tinglin Park. In the 80s of the 20th century, with the excavation of the Tinglin site, the black pottery cultural relics were unearthed, and the black pottery process was once again presented to the world in a different way.
In 2018, Shanghai Tuyuan Ceramic Science and Technology Center established a black pottery cultural park in Hongyang Village, Tinglin Town, in 2019, Tinglin Town held a series of activities to commemorate the 1500th anniversary of Gu Yewang's birth, during which Gu Yewang-related black pottery objects were produced and displayed in Tinglin Academy, in 2021, the Pottery Center opened special courses and cooperated with many schools in Jinshan District to provide students and teachers with black pottery production training and practice, and in August 2022, Tinglin "Black Pottery Production Skills" It was included in the eighth batch of representative items of intangible cultural heritage in Jinshan District.

Tea Art (Jiangnan Literati Tea)
Jiangnan literati tea originated in the Tang and Song dynasties, flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and has continued to this day, which is one of the methods and customs of making tea and drinking tea in the people's homes, and is also a necessary content for gathering and making friends, and is the most common folk activity in the Jiangnan region.
Historically, Jinshan is an important part of the culture of the Taihu Lake Basin, with the significant characteristics of Wudi culture, and because of the geographical relationship, it has absorbed the essence of ancient Yue civilization, and in modern times, it has been impregnated by the Shanghai culture, and the literati tea custom has also developed rapidly with its exquisite skills. In 2022, "Jiangnan Literati Tea" was selected into the eighth batch of representative items of Jinshan District's intangible cultural heritage.
On the basis of inheriting traditional skills, the literati continue to innovate tea skills, forming "meditation method", "etiquette method", "cloth method", "tea appreciation method", "brewing method", "tea offering method", "retreat and receiving method" and other tea techniques.

Wen Wantai pickle making skills
Wenwantai pickles were founded in the 30th year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1850), and its production skills have been preserved through the oral transmission of generations of pickle masters. In 2017, the pickle production technique of "Wenwantai" was officially included in the Jinshan District Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
Wenwantai pickles are made of fine materials, exquisite workmanship, fresh color, flavor and freshness, using locally grown vegetable raw materials, using traditional technology to produce pickles, especially assorted vegetables, pickled cucumbers, pickled melons, rock sugar garlic, sweet and sour garlic, sweet sprout ginger, ginger slices, pagoda vegetables as representatives.
