A few days ago, we learned from the official of ZEEKR Automobile that ZEEKR 009 OS 5.1 version OAT will be officially pushed to users from now on. This upgrade adds sentry mode and mobile phone remote parking functions, but since the latter must be operated with the ZEEKR App, the App needs to be upgraded to version 4.0.2 before it can be used.
The OTA upgrade adds a new sentry mode (beta version), through the recognition ability of the body's built-in camera and built-in vibration sensor, it continues to detect after the user leaves the vehicle, and when a possible risk is identified, it can avoid vehicle property damage by recording video images, sound and light alarms, and remotely notifying the user. However, this function can only be turned on from the car side, in order to protect the vehicle's power, it can only be valid for a single time after it is turned on, and it needs to be turned on again for the next use, and the actual power consumption will vary according to the surrounding environment of the vehicle.
This upgrade also adds RSPA remote control direct in and out parking, but this function needs to be operated through the ZEEKR App on the mobile phone. After clicking the "Remote Parking" button on the ZEEKR App, the user can remotely control the vehicle to move forward or backward in a straight line by pressing and holding the corresponding button, and assist the driver to park the vehicle that has been placed in the right place or into the narrow parking space. However, this function needs to be upgraded to version 4.0.2 and above, and the "TSI Traffic Sign Recognition, BSD Blind Spot Warning and RSPA Remote Control Direct Entry and Exit Parking" function needs to be enabled in the function mall (this function can be used the next day after the mobile App is upgraded).
