On April 7, the General Assembly of Kaiming Charity Foundation and the first meeting of the Fourth Council were held in Beijing. Zhu Yongxin, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee for Promoting Democracy, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting elected 15 members of the fourth council of the Kaiming Charity Foundation by secret ballot, and elected Qin Dongkui as the honorary chairman of the fourth council; Chen Zhengbai was elected as the chairman, Zhang Yinjun was elected as the executive vice president, and Jin Xin, CEO of Xueda Education Group, was re-elected as the vice chairman of the fourth council of the Kaiming Charity Foundation. Luo Fuhe, former first vice chairman of the Central Committee for Promoting Democracy and chairman of the second council of the Kaiming Charity Foundation, Liu Xincheng, former executive vice chairman of the Central Committee for the promotion of democracy and vice chairman of the second council of the Kaiming Charity Foundation, and Wang Gang, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, attended the meeting.

The Kaiming Charity Foundation is a non-public foundation initiated by the Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party and with the Ministry of Civil Affairs as the business supervisory unit.
Zhu Yongxin, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, congratulated the election of the new council on behalf of the Central Committee for Promoting Democracy, and paid tribute to all comrades who have long cared for and supported the public welfare and charity undertakings of the Association for Promoting Democracy. He stressed that 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and is a crucial year for achieving the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan. In accordance with the work plan and deployment, the Foundation will give full play to its characteristic advantages, build consensus extensively, gather public welfare and charitable forces, and help the DPP earnestly shoulder the major responsibilities of being a good adviser, helper and colleague of the Communist Party of China, embodying the effectiveness of China's new political party system, and striving to write a new chapter in the Foundation's public welfare.

On the evening of the 7th, the Kaiming Charity Foundation held the "Love Gathering and Enlightened, Walking to the Light - Love Concert". The concert site carried out several rounds of charity auctions, this charity auction activity was guided by the Central Committee for Promoting Democracy, sponsored by the Kaiming Charity Foundation, co-organized by the Central Institute of Enlightened Painting of the Central Committee for Promoting Democracy and the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Central Committee for Promoting Democracy, and collected a total of 56 pieces of good works donated by Fan Zeng, a master of Chinese painting, and Mo Yan, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature. All the funds raised by the event will be used for public welfare and charity, and carry out activities of respecting teachers and education, and helping the poor.

In December 2019, Jin Xin, founder and CEO of Xueda Education Group, was elected as the vice chairman of the third council of Kaiming Charity Foundation. Philanthropy is only in progress, not in completion. In July 2022 and April 2023, Jin Xin went to Anlong County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province twice for inspection.

Xueda Education has also opened nearly 10 Juxiang bookstores, hoping to take root here to serve the "Reading for All" activity, so that more readers can get the richness of the spiritual world while relieving their pressure.
In terms of the integration of medical education and education, Xueda Education established the sub-brand of "Qianyi Health" in 2022 to enter this field. Since its establishment, Qianyi Health has invited well-known domestic children's rehabilitation experts to carry out free clinic activities for many times, providing practical help to children and their families facing challenges such as autism, learning difficulties, ADHD, Tourette's syndrome, and attention deficit. The exploration of this transformation business still stems from Jinxin's determination to serve the needs of the country by relying on the personalized education experience accumulated by Xueda Education for more than 20 years.
