Xianxia Ancient Road
The ancient town is located in the high mountains and deep valleys of Xianxia Mountain, the town is not big, but because of its unique geographical location, there are 9 dialects, more than 130 surnames in the small place, and the architectural style is also very diverse.
Once the Huangchao rebel army opened up this Xianxia ancient road in order to attack Fujian, and the town has been recorded in history since then. There are many well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty buildings in the town, most of which are concentrated on Xunli Street, with elegant and simple colors and magnificent style.
Xianxialing is known as the "ancestor of Zhejiang Mountains", lying across Zhejiang and Fujian provinces, one end provokes Tiantai Mountain, and the other end carries Wuyi Mountain, which is a natural barrier separating the two places. There are not many such brilliance in the history of China's imperial examinations, and even Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, also thanked the glory of his ancestors, gave a pair of "rare stones", and gave a special plaque of "Eight Scholars" to praise the people of Heyang who worked hard and studied hard.
The people of Heyang embedded this plaque high in the archway at the entrance of the village, with a total length of about 150m, which belongs to the main gate of Heyang Ancient Village. There are two stone statues in front of the door, and when you enter the ancient village, you will be greeted by an antique "Bashimen Street". "If you don't enter the Bashi Gate, you won't be counted as a Heyang person."
There are about 1,500 houses left in the ancient dwellings, and each building is a Hui style building with white walls and black tiles.
The courtyard of the dwelling is square or rectangular, mainly a front hall and back hall type 18 room structure, which belongs to the courtyard pattern. The fence is a blue brick volcanic wall, and the courtyards are separated by alleys.
Different from the highly commercialized ancient town scenic spots, there are no walls around Heyang, and the people live in old houses, as if they have returned to the era of thousands of years ago, which is very simple and elegant.

Qingtian Shimen Cave Shimen Cave is a national 4A-level scenic spot, located in Qingtian County, on the bank of the Ou River. Found in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, flourished in the Song, Ming and Qing dynasties, and is famous for the founding father of the Ming Dynasty, Liu Ji (Liu Bowen), who studied here as a teenager, and has a rich cultural heritage. It is known as "Cave Wonderland" and "Xanadu".
Shimen Cave has a long history of cliff inscriptions, deep and secluded ancient temples, lofty Taoist views, and breathtaking waterfalls.
The whole scenic area is divided into Dongtian Waterfall, Prince Shengjing, Xiantao and Shigu Lake Scenic Area, which is a "Dongtian Wonderland" with the characteristics of clear, secluded, spiritual, ancient, strange, dangerous, wild and interesting.
The cliff inscription of Shimen Waterfall Scenic Area, there are many allusions, legends and relics under the fence of Xie Lingyun, Liu Ji, Chen Cheng and others, there are mountain villages, ancient temples, Taoist temples. There are trails on the mountain, and you can hike through the ridge loop to see the mountains and rivers accompanied by greenery.
