Quanbaoshan Forest Farm has rare guests
More than 20 species of wild animals were detected in the monitoring
Recently, Quanbaoshan Forest Farm worked closely with the team of Professor Chen Xiaohong from the School of Life Sciences of Henan Normal University to comprehensively collect and analyze the data of the infrared camera installed in the early stage. The monitoring results show that there are many kinds of wild animals in the Bears Ears Mountain Nature Reserve, and the infrared camera has successfully captured the image data of more than 20 species of wild animals.
Forest musk deer
In this precious ecological "album", the figure of the forest musk deer, a national first-class protected animal, is particularly eye-catching. With its unique morphology and living habits, this rare mammal has become the focus of this record analysis. It is understood that the forest musk deer has a keen sense of smell, timid temperament, impatience and strong vigilance, belongs to the artiodactyl musk deer, is a national first-class key protected wild animal, has been listed in the red list of endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, and its number is very rare.

In addition, four rare animals, including the national second-class protected animals, such as the Chinese impala, the leopard cat, the red-bellied golden pheasant and the spoon pheasant, also appeared, and their appearance further confirmed the superiority of the ecological environment and the diversity of biological resources in the Bears Ears Mountain Nature Reserve.

Quanbao Mountain Forest Site is located in a deep mountainous area, with high mountains and lush forests, providing a unique habitat for wild animals. It is densely forested, with abundant water and an intact food chain, providing good living conditions for wildlife. In recent years, Quanbaoshan Forest Farm has continuously increased the protection of forest resources, and jointly cracked down on illegal and criminal activities with the Public Security Bureau and the township government, which has greatly deterred lawbreakers, and the wildlife resources in the territory have been effectively protected, and has now become a habitat paradise for many wild animals.
The collection and analysis of infrared camera monitoring data not only provides detailed information on the species and quantity of wild animals for the forest farm, but also provides strong data support for subsequent biodiversity research and conservation work.
In the next step, Quanbaoshan Forest Farm will increase publicity, carry out popular science education, and strengthen cooperation and exchanges with other scientific research institutions and universities to jointly promote biodiversity conservation.
