In 2009, Huang Zongjiang was diagnosed with colon cancer, and his condition improved after surgery. But in 2010, cancer cells spread through his body, causing a lung infection.
On October 18 of this year, Huang Zongjiang unfortunately passed away at the 301 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army in Beijing at the age of 89.
