CMMI5 is the highest level of the globally recognized capability maturity evaluation system in the software industry, and it is currently the assessment with the highest requirements for management maturity and the most difficult application in the international software industry. It focuses on the continuity and depth of the organization's process improvement, evaluates the organization's capabilities every three years according to the requirements of the model, and is the highest certification of the enterprise in terms of standardization, normalization and maturity. CMMI-DEV V2.0 includes 20 practice areas such as requirements development and management, estimation, peer review, process asset development, and organization-level training.
In order to continue to improve the maturity of Shandong industry-to-mutual software capabilities and do a good job in this re-evaluation, Shandong industry-to-mutual has conducted a comprehensive inspection and evaluation of the Shandong Industry-Mutual Quality Management Office and 10 software development project teams for 13 months since March 2023, led 24 operation inspections, involving more than 790 documents, found and rectified 336 problems in a timely manner, organized training for more than 280 people, and obtained high-maturity internal assessor qualifications for 5 people.
During the evaluation process, the senior review team from China conducted a 10-day inspection and evaluation of organization-level asset management, process improvement management, and whole-process project management, and finally determined that Shandong Industry and Mutual met the CMMI5 qualification requirements and reached the high maturity standard after a strict, fair and comprehensive evaluation and review.
The passing of the CMMI5 re-evaluation is a strong proof of the achievements made by Shandong Industry and Mutual in its long-term adherence to innovation leadership, continuous optimization of process management, and improvement of product and service quality. Shandong Industry Mutual will take this opportunity to continue to strengthen quantitative management thinking, continuously improve product research and development efficiency, adhere to the principle of customer-centricity, and bring better services and higher quality software products to customers.
