Timber harvesting permits
According to the construction party, the felled trees under the high-voltage line tower, eucalyptus, acacia and other tall tree species can easily cause safety hazards under the high-voltage line. In order to prevent tall trees from affecting the safety of power lines, the Panyu District Bureau of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources and the power supply department are carrying out the reforestation of ultra-high tree species under the high-voltage line, replacing the eucalyptus trees under the high-voltage line with low-rise tree species such as Camellia oleifera, iron holly, and mountain blackberry, which have strong water storage capacity, which can improve the water storage and water storage capacity of the forest, and take into account the forest fire prevention function.
The construction party said that the relevant projects in the transformation area have been submitted to the higher forestry and garden departments for review and approval, and the forest felling permit has been obtained, and the felling work is planned to be completed by the end of March and the renewal of tree species by the end of June. The Dafu Mountain Forest Park Management Office will urge the construction unit to strengthen construction management and reduce the impact of the project on tourists.
