In February 2022, in a gambling case led by Zhou Xuefeng, he found that Ma Mou, a resident of the jurisdiction, and others were suspected of gathering crowds to gamble, so he worked with the police of the special case team to carefully investigate and arrange, analyze and judge the clues they had one by one, conduct in-depth investigation and collect evidence, and successfully arrested the suspect, investigated and punished 27 gambling participants through deep digging and expansion, and confiscated nearly one million yuan of gambling funds and illegal gains. In July of the same year, the special case group successfully smashed one criminal gang that organized prostitution entrenched in the jurisdiction of Beitun City, and cracked three cases of prostitution introduction, achieving good social and legal results.

Diligent and thoughtful, hard work, he struggled in the wind and rain no matter what job he was in, Zhou Xuefeng always had the mentality of "skill panic", insisted on taking the initiative to learn, actively asking for advice, boldly practicing and practicing his skills, so that he could grow from a layman to an expert in the shortest possible time. After each case is completed, he will conduct a self-"review" as soon as possible, summarize his experience, and find out the shortcomings. In June 2023, some people reported to the police that the property in the car was stolen, and he found that many cases of car door theft in the jurisdiction were similar in time and method, and concluded that it was very likely that the accomplices committed crimes continuously. After many days of visits, surveys and squatting waiting, more than 10 cases of "pulling the car door" series of thefts were cracked, and more than 70,000 yuan of losses were recovered for the masses. In order to prevent the recurrence of similar cases, he led the patrol teams of various police stations to "pull the car door" one by one to inspect the cars parked in the community and on the street during the key hours at night, so as not to give criminals any opportunity to take advantage of it.

In April 2021, people in the jurisdiction found a bag of discarded bullets in the drainage inspection well of a green water pipe in a regimental field. Due to the complex social situation of the regiment, Zhou Xuefeng took the initiative to lead the police to rush to the scene of the crime to carry out the work as soon as possible, and during the day he and his comrades-in-arms went deep into the company to visit and obtain video surveillance, and jointly studied and judged the work of the day at night and screened valuable clues. After 21 consecutive days and nights of fighting, the suspect was finally locked up, and one case of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition was successfully cracked.

Indifferent to fame and fortune, he is a role model for his comrades-in-arms and family

The meaning of time lies in the struggle, and the footprints of the struggle are engraved with his steps forward, in which there are both ups and downs, as well as warmth and happiness.

He is "Brother Zhou" in the eyes of his comrades-in-arms, and his professional quality and superb skills make everyone sincerely admire. The leaders who took him said that 365 days a year, Zhou Xuefeng spent more than 200 days on the road of public security and stability maintenance, no matter how urgent the task, he could always arrive in the shortest possible time when he gave an order. The brothers at the grassroots level said that no matter how late it was, with a phone call, he could always cooperate and support in a timely manner without the slightest complaint. Comrades-in-arms in fraternal units said that he was never "stingy" and always took the initiative to share his skills without reservation.

In December 2022, when Zhou Xuefeng was working on a case, he missed it just in time for his father's birthday. March 2023 is his mother's birthday, and he wants to buy a sweater for his mother as a gift when he doesn't have to go on a business trip, but he didn't finish it until the day before his birthday, and he apologized to his mother for "coquettishness": "I'm bragging again, why don't I come to something affordable, give you money to buy it yourself, and invite you to a big meal tomorrow, okay?" His wife is also a people's policeman, and she has more understanding of Zhou Xuefeng's work, she always says: "Although the family can't take care of it, I am proud of him when I see him serving the people, and he is a role model for the children."
