Since the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon, the Jianbang Liaotai Yellow River Highway and Railway Bridge has sounded the construction charge and made every effort to sprint to the goal of opening to traffic. On the second day of the Lunar New Year, the construction of the project was fully started; on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, the concrete pouring of the wet joints and cast-in-place beams of the main bridge was completed; on March 1, the secondary falling of the steel truss girder of the main bridge was completed; on March 15, the grouting of the main bridge bearing and the tensioning of the steel strand of the bridge deck were completed; on March 16, the grouting and expansion joint construction of the tensioning hole of the main bridge were completed; the asphalt laying of the bridge deck of the main bridge was completed on March 20, and the installation of street light poles and steel guardrails in the main bridge line was completed on March 22. At present, the ancillary facilities of the bridge deck and the charging M&E system have entered the final stage of commissioning.
In the ardent expectation of the people on both sides of the Yellow River, the Jianbang Liaotai Yellow River Railway Bridge will be officially opened to traffic on March 26, 2024. The completion of the bridge is of great significance for strengthening the transportation links between Jinan, Liaocheng and Tai'an, accelerating the construction of transportation integration in the economic circle of the provincial capital city agglomeration, and promoting the economic and social development along the route.
