Recently, in order to strengthen the traffic safety management around the campus and prevent and reduce road traffic accidents, multiple departments in Tancheng County jointly carried out the rectification of illegal modified electric motorcycles

During the operation, the law enforcement officers conducted a comprehensive investigation of the vehicles parked around the campus, temporarily detained and towed the "electric motorcycles" that were found to have modified behaviors, and informed the vehicle owners to go to the traffic police department for processing.

Among them, all students involved in "electric motorcycles" will be copied to the school, and the school will notify the guardian to deal with it, and order them to strictly discipline, resolutely put an end to minors driving electric motorcycles on the road without a license, and fundamentally eliminate the potential safety hazards of road traffic accidents caused by teenagers driving "electric motorcycles". Provisions

According to Article 72 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law, you must be at least 16 years old to drive an electric bicycle. If an accident occurs when driving an electric bicycle under the age of 16, according to Article 1188 of the Civil Code, if a person with no or limited capacity for civil conduct causes damage to others, the guardian shall bear tort liability. Where guardians perform their guardianship duties, their tort liability may be reduced.

For minors, electric motorcycles are not allowed to be ridden on the road. According to the Road Traffic Safety Law, you must be at least 18 years old to drive an electric motorcycle, and you must obtain the corresponding driver's license.
