A few days ago, Suzuki Motors released the official pictures of a new generation of Suzuki Sueyi (the domestic version was once named "Swift", hereinafter referred to: the new Swift). The concept version of the all-new Swift was unveiled at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show, while the production version is based on the HEARTECT platform and is available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations, and is expected to be officially unveiled in April. It is understood that the new Swift offers 8 metal paint options, as well as 4 dual colors, which can be matched with black or gray roof paint.
In terms of appearance, the overall shape of the new car still maintains the sporty style of the hatchback "small steel cannon", with a honeycomb-shaped structure inside the front grille similar to the shape of the fishmouth, and a new style of the headlight cluster, which incorporates LED daytime running lights. According to official information, the new car has been upgraded in terms of active safety, using a monocular camera + millimeter-wave radar solution to improve safety when driving at night and passing through intersections.
On the side of the body, compared to the previous generation of the Swift, the rear door handle of the new car has been moved from the C-pillar to the regular position. The taillights have also been restyled and the interior has become more recognizable. The lower right side of the tailgate is marked with the word "Hybrid", while the rear bumper is designed in the same color as the body to enhance the overall look. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 3860/1735/1495 mm (the height of the four-wheel drive version is 1520), and the wheelbase is 2450 mm. In addition, the car is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the new car has undergone drastic changes, and the layout of the center console and the 9-inch floating center console are very different from the previous generation model, which is more in line with the current mainstream design style. The instrument panel still adopts the design of mechanical dial + LCD screen, but this is also in line with the tonality of the sports "small steel cannon".
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a three-cylinder engine mated to a 12V mild hybrid system (ISG) with a maximum power of 82 hp and a peak torque of 112 Nm, while the ISG mild hybrid system can output a maximum power of 2.3 kW and a peak torque of 60 Nm. In terms of powertrain, the new car is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic transmission, and is available in two power layouts: two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.

The Suzuki Swift is positioned as a compact car, and the next-generation Swift is the fourth generation. At that time, the speed wing introduced in China was a sports version, with a price range of 178,800-188,800 yuan. At the same time, starting with the third-generation model, Suzuki no longer introduced the car into the domestic market.
