The predecessor of Shengda was Shenzhen Aisenkang Technology Co., Ltd., which was established in 2013. According to Miss Kang, the company focuses on the research and development, production and sales of Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth speakers, and the factory is located in Guanlan Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen, with two or three hundred people.

The company's main customer groups are large sellers in the Amazon headset category, as well as domestic and foreign brand customers, and many products are popular on cross-border e-commerce platforms.

In 2023, open-back headphones will break out, and manufacturers including Shokin and Huawei have launched related products, so 2023 is called the "first year of open-back headphones" by the industry.

The so-called open-back earphones are earphones that can keep the ear canal open and open without blocking the outside sound when worn, and are also called OWS (Open Wearable Stereo) earphones.

According to data from relevant market research institutions, in 2023, OWS headphones will increase by 130.2% year-on-year, with sales reaching 6.52 million units.

The data released by market research agency Canalys for the fourth quarter of 2023 also shows a considerable growth momentum in the small category of OWS headphones: OWS headphones accounted for 2.9% of the personal audio market, a quarter-on-quarter growth rate of 68.2%.

At the 2024 IEAE Shenzhen Electronics Exhibition, many Bluetooth headset manufacturers, including Shengdaren, brought their new OWS headset products.

According to Ms. Kang, for the overseas market and the domestic market, Shengda has developed two kinds of OWS headphones with different styles.

Overseas, the company currently has offline brand customers in Japan, South Korea and Russia, and has placed orders for hundreds of thousands of sets of OWS headphones.

However, while OWS headphones are popular, many consumers have reported that they have sound leakage problems. In this regard, Ms. Kang said that there are three main ways to solve this problem:

First, in terms of structural design, try to keep the OWS earphone mouthpiece close to the ear canal, and the earphone cavity shell uses silicone to form a semi-closed circle with the auricle to reduce sound leakage;

The second is EQ adjustment, which is a little more low-frequency tuning and a little less mid-high-pitch, which can reduce sound leakage. She said that the Voicer product can provide two different EQs at the same time for customers to switch options.

Third, by adding additional software algorithms, the algorithms can cancel out the leaked sound and play a role in preventing sound leakage.
