W228Be
The W228Be uses the same architecture as the PerformaBe F228Be floorstanding loudspeaker to reproduce outstanding audio performance in a wall-to-wall manner. The core technology of the W228Be is a 1-inch beryllium dome tweeter powered by dual ceramic magnets, paired with a fifth-generation ceramic-coated cast aluminum acoustic lens waveguide, and the tweeter and a 5.25 inch deep ceramic composite (DCC) aluminum midrange driver encapsulated in a rotatable housing, allowing the W228Be to act as a center channel speaker for increased efficiency, improved dynamic range, reduced distortion and improved power handling. Dual 8-inch (200 mm) deep ceramic composite (DCC) aluminium woofers maintain ideal stroke movement. DCC is a plasma electrolytic oxidation process that uses plasma discharge to form a hard ceramic coating on both sides of an aluminum core. The crossover network utilizes all the film capacitors and air-core inductors in the midrange and treble circuits for excellent detail response.

C540
The C540 features a 1-inch aluminium dome tweeter with a waveguide design for excellent off-axis response. Featuring a 4-inch MCC woofer with cast aluminium cone, the long-excursion design delivers plenty of low-frequency output. Use an advanced crossover network to achieve precise sound detail. The diameter of the opening is only 8.9cm, and the grille is fixed by magnetic suction to achieve concealment but not obvious. With the RollerLock tool-less mounting mechanism, the C540 can be quickly and easily mounted on the wall, adapting to a wide range of wall thicknesses and building types.

As a rising star, Perlisten can be described as the pinnacle of its debut, with wide recognition in the Hi-Fi market, and also has a high level of achievement in the field of home theater multi-channel, obtaining the highest level of THX Dominus certification for the first time, and since the birth of the first product, it is almost highly tied to the THX certification. Today, Perlisten has expanded its product line and incorporated the top-of-the-line S-Series into in-wall speakers, as well as the R-Series.
S series
There are six models of the in-wall S-Series, including an in-ceiling speaker, which is also the first THX Dominus-certified in-wall speaker, meaning that the speakers can be used in a room of 184 cubic meters and can be viewed up to 6 meters. Perlisten's core technology is the Sound Directivity Control (DPC) waveguide, the S Series DPC array consists of a beryllium tweeter and two TPCD midranges, which can concentrate sound energy to precisely control the sound radiation in the vertical and horizontal planes. In addition, the S series has its own TPCD (Textreme Ultra-Light and Thin Carbon Fiber Diaphragm), which is harder than traditional carbon fiber materials and weighs only 70% of traditional carbon fiber materials. It is used for dome horns, and the frequency is more than one octave lower than the lower limit of the traditional diaphragm frequency. The small, lightweight diaphragm avoids unnecessary beams caused by larger diaphragms.

There are five in-wall R-Series models, including an in-ceiling speaker, which is also THX Dominus certified. Each speaker has a 4-inch-deep enclosed aluminum cabinet with an asphalt damping layer and a magnetic grille.

This series can be divided into two models, IWS and ICS, the former is an in-wall speaker, and the latter is a ceiling-mounted speaker, both of which are SYS-108 and SYS-208 products. As a result of this, the SYS-208 doubles the amplifier output from 300W to 600W compared to the SYS-108, with an 8-inch woofer and a cabinet depth of only 8.3cm. Both series use the famous concentric tube suspension, and with the help of JL Audio's DMA-optimized motor design, the subwoofer offset can be significantly improved, reducing distortion and resulting in a clean and powerful low-frequency output.

Mid-to-high-end and commercial are still the main spending power
For this problem, I think it can be divided into two major directions of analysis, first of all, the project positioning can be divided into mid-to-high-end and entry-level, in the final analysis, it is actually a budget issue. When choosing some mid-to-high-end home theaters, design companies will give priority to in-wall speakers, because they can be more integrated with the environment, and the speakers no longer protrude from the wall, forming a whole. And today's home theater has entered the era of panoramic sound, and it is often 7.1.2 channels, or even more channels. In-wall speakers also have the characteristics of customization, so they have a good competitiveness in mid-to-high-end home theaters.
For the entry-level level, it is mainly based on ceiling-mounted speakers, which act as the sky channel or background music of the living room theater, and the main speaker still chooses an outward-mounted speaker. In contrast, the construction period is shorter and less difficult. Moreover, the price of in-ceiling speakers will be lower than that of in-wall speakers, so they have become the first choice for most consumers who do not use independent audio-visual rooms.
The second is the application scenario, and the proportion of commercial and household use is still obvious. Commercial use is still the mainstream of in-wall speakers. In the commercial field, the main application scenarios of in-wall speakers include conference rooms, shops, hotels, gyms, educational institutions, etc., which usually need to play audio content stably for a long time, while in-wall speakers are designed to be more suitable for long-term use, and can be perfectly integrated with the internal structure of the building, without taking up additional space or affecting the decorative effect.
On the other hand, in the home field, although the application scenarios of in-wall speakers are also increasing, the demand in the home field is relatively small compared to the commercial field. This may be due to the fact that in the home environment, people are more focused on individuality and flexibility, and sometimes prefer to use vertical or wall-mounted speakers to move or change positions as needed.
