Volkswagen's new "Small Tiguan" exposed! Change the interior of the Golf, more beautiful than the Song PLUS?

A few days ago, Zhidian Travel obtained a set of road test spy photos of Volkswagen's new generation T-ROC Tange model, and the new car is expected to make its debut before the end of this year at the earliest, and is scheduled to go on sale in 2025. At the same time, the new model is also expected to be launched in the domestic market next year, and the main competitors in the same class include the Changan CS75 PLUS, BYD Song PLUS, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and other models. In April last year, Volkswagen officials also said that the second-generation T-ROC Tange model was the last new internal combustion engine model.

As can be seen from the released road test spy photos, Volkswagen's new generation of T-ROC Tange model has a multi-banner grille on the head, and a new shape of LED headlight clusters is provided on both sides, and it is highly similar to the brand's Tiguan model, which can also be regarded as a "small Tiguan" model. At the rear, a hidden exhaust layout is selected, and the lower bumper with a new shape has been upgraded, which is more recognizable than models such as the Song Plus.

In terms of power, Volkswagen's new generation T-ROC Tange model will be equipped with 1.5T + 48-volt mild hybrid, 2.0T and 1.5T plug-in hybrid systems, and the transmission system is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. In addition, the interior of the new car is likely to adopt the same design elements as the Golf, with the latest three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, LCD digital instrument cluster and a large floating LCD center display.
