Thanks to Neymar, Alves commuted his sentence: took the initiative to compensate 150,000 yuan, and spent four and a half years in prison

Alves was sentenced to four years and six months in prison, and after his release, Alves will need to undergo five years of supervision and pay 150,000 euros in compensation to the victim.
For Alves, this is already the most desirable ending - the victim woman asked Alves to go to prison for 12 years, the prosecutor's previous proposal was for nine years, and Alves' lawyer, Inés Guardiola, wanted four years.

Before the trial, Alves paid 150,000 euros in "bail" to the victim, an act of voluntary seeking forgiveness, and was therefore sentenced to a reduced sentence of nine years to four and a half years. The "reduced sentence" of 150,000 euros saved Alves four and a half years in prison.
Alves' 150,000 euros are not his own. Alves, who is serving a prison sentence, has his assets controlled by his ex-wife, his bank account is frozen, and he cannot use his assets. That's when Neymar came in hand.
